Indulge your sweet tusk without spoiling your diet!!

Weight watchers or not, we all love those healthy treats at times.

But how to have those scrumptious treats as we all are worried about calories, refined sugar, junk, simple carbs, weight gain and all that jazz!

Sugar isn’t just empty calories–the consequence of indulging goes deeper than that. Consuming sweets spikes your insulin levels, which may cause you to store excess fat. Weight gain as a result of eating sweets has little to do with calories–it has to do with the insulin surge that puts your body into fat-storage mode.

So, if you really wanna kick something out of your diet then it should be the refined sugar and not the healthy desserts.

A quick fix or a replace for sugar is using fruits to get their nutritional value and its sugar (fructose) which is a healthiest way of indulgence of sweet tooth.

My New Fave HEALTHY TREAT

Healthy Dessert or a Pre workout energy booster; use it the way you want to!!

Well, I use it as both,teehee..

And to cap it all, you don’t even have to wait for a cheat day to enjoy this treat.

It was the recipe that I came up with just to soothe my kids’ daily sweet tusk attack. But then whilst making it the third or the forth time, I realised that even weight watchers can dig in it without any hiccups.

So here it is..

“my quick quirky smoothie/icecream”

Ingredients:

1 riped banana (preferably)

@allovernuts 1 spoon crunchy unsalted unsweetened peanut butter

@allovernuts 1 spoon crunchy unsweetened dark chocolate almond butter

( crunchy coz both the butters have those tiny grated peanuts n almond in it)

One spoon cocoa powder

And a pinch of cinnamon to dust it with.

Blend it all together in a blender.

Freeze it for 30mins to have it as a smoothie and for 1 hour to have it as an icecream!

An Voila!!

It’s ready to devour!?
