Just Do It

This post is to show my progress indeed;
But something above and beyond all this is what I wanna share today,
You know this was never in plan, plan was just to have enough strength for everything; I never workout for building these muscles but to have more strength;
To be more able!!
It is a byproduct indeed more than that it was, is and will be always about that happiness and satisfaction.
But then once in a while Pausing to see what you have earned on the way and sharing it with the world is good and needed indeed and if we can do so thanx to social media then why not?!?
you know two years back I used to think twice before posting anything here, coz
I used to think that no one will value my posts, there are so many inspiring and exceptionally amazing ppl out there on insta, why wud someone want to like my posts?!?
What exceptional am I doing that they can’t?!?
I used to compare,
But then things changed,
I still compare but now I compare myself back then when I started to myself now;
Neha version 1.0 to Neha version 2.0,
We all are gifted with our own unique talents and passion,
One can definitely be better than you at something and vice versa,
We can’t be good at everything in life, we all have our own set of struggles and we can’t rationally compare ourselves with anyone.
But we should always try and focus on the good and work for better!!
Kisi ko mukamal jahaan nahi milta kise zameen toh kisse aasman nahi milta?
But that doesn’t stop us from aiming for that sky right?!?
You never know sky itself might come to you someday!?
Those changes in how my body looked and behaved 4-5 years back and how it looks and behaves now, and how I can mould it in future, is a thing in itself, and I wanna proudly show it to the world,
But there are three kinds of ppl out here;
One who workout because it’s their ikigai, their passion and they want to show the world their progress and to inspire others as well to do so,
Second kinds are those who workout only for instagram likes followers n comments,
Third kinds are those who are progressing and accomplishing a lot but somewhere they fear to show it to the world,
The other day I read a joke somewhere,
“Did a crazy workout sesh today but all waste of time, forgot to record it for insta”
I laughed out loud; abruptly I stopped and I asked myself, am I like this too?!?
And the answer was Yes sometimes even I behave like this,
Don’t be like these kinds but don’t be hesitant to post your achievements,
we sometimes hesitate to share updates or accomplishments because even though they may be important to us, we fear they are not at all important to our friends, family, and followers, we think I am not that great or that strong or that flexible or that agile compare to a fellow Instagramer,
Either we don’t share or if we share also then we don’t make it sound as a big deal as well sometimes, coz we have a fear of being judged,
You just finished a super hard workout. Truth be told, you didn’t even want to go to the gym in the first place, because you had a bad day at work and have a boatload of housework you should be doing instead of working out.
But you went to the gym anyway, and you managed to not only have a great workout, but set a deadlift PR that you’ve been struggling for months to overcome. And you want to scream it from the rooftops…or the 21st-century version of screaming from the rooftops: post a status update declaring your accomplishment to the world.
But you think 100 times before posting;
Or worse, you fear that someone will take your post as–gasp!–bragging.
But when it comes to sharing your workouts and progress on social media, my opinion is always “go for it,” regardless of what others might think. And here’s why:
Getting into a regular routine of posting your workouts will help hold you accountable for what you’ve done (or haven’t done) to improve your training.
Like sharing your running stats, your pushups or pullups journey.
You never know who you might encourage. People are watching you, probably closer than you realize. A friend you might not have talked to in years may see your daily workout updates and think to herself “if she can do it…I can find the time to do it as well!”
And trust me you deserve to brag.
The point is, you should be proud of what you’ve done, and those who truly care about you will be proud of you as well.
OK, let me be honest for a minute: Yes, you probably are annoying some of your friends by posting your workout and run updates. But the great thing about social media and technology is that those people have the ability to block those “annoying” posts from their view. But for every friend who is annoyed by your workout posts, there are twice as many friends cheering you on behind their computer screens. So be proud of your hard work and hold your head high!
Also one last and very important thingy, don’t wait for that perfect body type or perfect asana or exercise to post, if you are at it, post it anyway, where ever you are in your journey, you don’t have to wait to ace your goals to be proud of yourself,
Cheers guys,
They say
der se hi sahi manzil mil hi jayegi gumrah toh woh log hain jo ghar se nikle hi nahi!
??
More power to us all!?
