I am a strong independent woman!

I am who I am.

Unapologetically Me;

Comfortable in my skin;

I am strong because I am not afraid to break my nail to get down and dirty.

In fact I will claw, punch and kick my way through the barriers to lead to the top of it all to my goals.

I will break the chains of social injustice that restrict me from reaching my dreams.

I will break free from the cage of gender stereotypes.

I may be a woMAN, a feMALE but no one will define me.

I can be in heels or boots or running shoes.

I can do yoga but I can have wine too.

I can lift weights and I can be feminine too.

I can adorn a short dress/saree but I can feel my best in those pajamas too..

I am strong but can feel weak too.

I can be powerful but sensual too.

I can be girlie but can be boyish too.

I can be a mother but can decide not to have kids too.

I can run a country but can be a home maker too.

I can go clubbing at night but can go to a temple too..

I can put on a red lipstick but can put on a fulcrum with a suit too..

I can roam around on the streets till late with boys and can just be with my girls inside the house too..

I am docile but can be wild too.

My life my choices.

I am a strong, independent woman

I am independent coz,

I don’t need prince charming to save me.

And i wont be defined by my shoe,my dress, my virginity or my cup size.

I don’t need anyone to tell me how to walk, think, dress, look, lift, smile or pose.

I will never be barbie

She’s perfect plastic,

While i’m the real deal.

I am more than what you see,

I am more than my face.

I am strong because i can bleed for 5 days and only get so much as a cramp..

I can endure the pain of my body being ripped open just to give birth n all the screams n blood splatter is a woman turned into a mother.

I am more than my body,

Do not undermine me,

For I am power beyond belief,

Yes, I may live in my emotions sometimes,

But I can walk with my head held high and a smile on my face

I have a voice

I have mind

I have a soul

None of which anyone can control

Never hesitating to become the woman i’m meant to be

I am everything sassy

I am woman
